About ME

Since a teenager, baking has always been a huge passion of mine and over the years, I have baked many sweet treats for family and friends with a desire that someday, I can create beautiful cakes and desserts. When children came along, baking consisted of many trays of brownies, chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes, which I still thoroughly enjoyed making however, I gushed over baking cookbooks, instagram cakes and Masterchef desserts.

In late 2018 with the kids somewhat grown up, I finally found some time on my hands and Vanilla Butter Cakes was quickly born. Now obsessed with all things cake, I thoroughly enjoy creating decorative and customised cakes that tastes as great as they look.

Receiving a cake makes someone feel special and I feel so privileged to be able to create one for your special occasion.
